Landgasthof Zum schwarzen Adler in Markt Nordheim

Everything perfect!

The Landgasthof Zum Schwarzen Adler is a beautiful and lovingly run hotel and restaurant by the Meyer family. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The food was fantastic. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling and the wellness area offers a great retreat to relax. The employees were all very friendly and courteous. We had an all-round pleasant time and would be happy to come back!

When I called for 3-4 double rooms for one night, I got the following answer; “Rooms would be free, but we don't close at 11 p.m. so that you sit longer, I'm tired. “I was so perplexed that I couldn't think of a suitable answer. At the end of the phone call, I did not get a farewell, but a “So I have to keep working now. We booked somewhere else, after all, we don't want to deprive the staff of their well-deserved rest or prevent them from doing their work.

Really German hotel. A bit of a simple room. Showering in the bath is therefore not something for people with mobility problems. No shower curtain so everything gets wet. Breakfast in corona form, but everything available. Evening meal good too!

We had venison dumplings. Delicious. With pleasure again.

Nice restaurant with beer garden in front of the entrance and a smaller courtyard garden. Everything very well maintained. But: We found the food only mediocre. The salad was sour - the Schäufele was boiled and then fried, also very weakly seasoned and the trout was not cooked through (probably a frozen trout, which then takes longer on the back to cook through). Maybe we had a bad day.

Overpriced, price-performance ratio does not fit! Not recommended !!!

I'm there regularly in February for the stew weeks. Where else can you get herb wraps that you don't have to make yourself? In addition, an excellent bouillabaisse is also offered at this time ..... I warmly recommend it. The whole thing is not even expensive 😄

Delicious carp (in months with R :-), if you ask nicely, even the Tesla Destination Charger can be used!

A nice place to stay

Terrific Fränkische food, great beer, nice rooms with great bathrooms. VERY friendly and helpful staff!

We were there for lunch today. Order came very quickly. Carp was great. Also the salad with goat cheese. Delicious homemade bratwurst.
